Fun game, just needs a clearer indication of gold per second for each automation and what enhancing an item would do.

Opening the door didn't end the game?  I've now clicked "open the door" twice, the first time I beat the dungeon and again when I thought I must have hit the wrong button.

Hey there, thanks for playing the game, I really appreciate it. It seems that some update over time may have broken the HTML embed as this is a bit old unfortunately. I'm playing through it again right now to see if I run into the same issue.

I just played through it on Google Chrome and was able to open the door; are you perhaps on Firefox? If I recall correctly, I think Firefox had some issues with this specific version of the engine I had used. Thank you for playing though!

Nope, Chrome.   Not the end of the world, just not what you intended.  My progress didn't save when I left the tab, so I can't reproduce it.

I really liked the writing in the final dungeon, that was lovely.  The whole game is great!  I'd play a larger more expanded version of this, maybe with a bit of added QoL for building teams or select all or something though lol.  Was market the last on the money making list, I didn't manage to unlock more, but I wasn't sure if that was the final or if I needed to just level it up further.

I am supremely late and I apologize since I missed this comment, the Market does seem to be the last one! I'm considering revisiting the project and expanding on it with some more polish. Thank you for your comment all those years ago.

Hi, first thanks for checking out the game! Secondly, it appears that the engine version I am using currently (Godot 4b12) doesn't support Firefox on the web unfortunately. If you're on Windows, you can check out the download version if you'd like!

Got it, thanks!

Great game, I loved how the sound effects start to sound like music as they all start to stack.

nice ui :) cool design

The progression was well rounded, and it was nice in that it didn't feel too grindy. The procedural battle logs in the dungeons were definitely the highlight for me!

I love the idea and the execution was awesome. The expeditions are really fun to see and, despite not being a big gacha fan, I really liked the gacha aspects of the game. Very fun game overall, good job!

None of the Godot games are working in my Firefox on Windows. :-(

Ah, I'm sorry to hear that! I got it working on my Chromium based browser but I didn't test Firefox. Does the downloadable version work for you?

According to some of the things I've found, some Godot 4 games are just straight up not compatible with Firefox on Itch.io. :-( I did try the downloaded version. It was a little frustrating that I had no idea what was bringing in what amount or how quickly, so I mostly just maxed out the bottom idle and the clicker and ignored the rest, and summoned as quickly as possible, constantly sending people out on missions. But not really paying much attention to mission logs, so no idea if there were synergies between characters or anything. Not that it mattered; with each mission full of people, results were almost always great. It didn't take too long to finish.

That sucks, I really hope Godot4 gets that patched up sooner rather than later! Also, I totally get what you mean, there probably should've been a bit more transparency on how much gold each activity did and how things affected everything else. Thanks for playing and for such detailed feedback!
